Stuart thrives in the studio exploring content, developing work from stimulus, and playing within dramatic exercises. He has experience running rehearsal rooms and creative developments and is comfortable in a directorial role. Stuart believes that a rehearsal room is the playful space where imagination and physicalisation come together to create theatre. In Stuart's personal and collaborative practice discoveries are made on the floor using body and voice to explore the project at hand.
