Red Front Door

ALBUM ART WHITE AND RED_edited_edited.jp

About the album

Stuart Owen's album 'Red Front Door' is an album of songs written between 2014 and 2018 that chronicle the phases of a relationship. The first half of the album celebrates new love and a budding companionship, the middle of the album illustrates a descent and breaking down of a relationship and the end of the album deals with substance abuse and the remorse associated with the fallout, with a thread of hope from beginning to end. A cathartic experience for Stuart the album was also a chance for him to experiment with recording styles, new MIDI instruments, and mixing and mastering his own work. Made entirely solo, even down to the cover art, Stuart went deep into his own musical process to produce this album and while it is far from perfectly executed it was an emotional and technical challenge that promises a strong future for his solo music career.

The Family Album

Currently Stuart is working on his new EP 'The Family Album' which is an attempt to musically capture all the feelings that an old family photo album would evoke. He is planning five songs representing the five members of his immediate family with instrumental intro and outro tracks.

'The Family Album' is expected to be released in 2020.

Album art is still being developed, stay tuned for more news.
